Montepinar: classic and modern

A young couple approached Pacheco & Asociados Arquitectos to design the villa of their dreams. Our new customers provided us with very detailed specifications, as they were clear about their needs and wants.
In this case they selected a classic design emanating luxury everywhere. The villa was conceived from the beginning with a classic-modern character, but projecting a simple appearance on the street elevation, discreetly concealing its true luxury impact on the elevations that adjoin the rear garden.
This project is inspired by the peaceful life of a luxury urbanization such as Montepinar and the privilege of living in a charming house with distinctively classic lines. The villa manifests itself in areas of large surfaces flooded with natural light not only through its rear façade with large openings but also through an interior patio that starts from the basement.
The feeling of retreating from the annoying noise and bustle of everyday city life to a relaxing environment is always welcome. With panoramic views from its stepped terraces towards its own garden and from the comfort of this home they are incredible.
According to our clients, the villa should have all the necessary luxuries for a comfortable and uncomplicated life and in order to develop this magnificent project, we were provided with a double plot in one of the best places in the Montepinar urbanization.
Diversification of staggered spaces.
To be built on a double sloping plot, the house cascades down from the first floor to the basement. Each floor has a large terrace with views of the garden and the urbanization.
The house was designed on three floors. Basement, lower and first. In a basement of more than 160m2 are the recreational spaces such as a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, games room and garage, all open onto a large covered terrace of 89.51m2.
The ground floor of 198.93m2 built provides us with enough space to expand on our design. The centerpiece of this ground floor is a living room of about 45 m2 with an open kitchen and a large dining room around an internal patio. Two bedrooms, one with bathroom en suite, a library with views of the garden and a utility room adjacent to the kitchen complete this floor with magnificent views of the garden and pool.
The entrance hall is complemented by a spectacular staircase hung from steel cables in contrast to the classic style of the rest of the floor. The first floor, where we have three additional bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, a dressing room and a large 132.48m2 terrace, culminates the villa in a grandiose way. The terrace has a large pergola to provide shade in the summer months and to enjoy the magnificent views of the garden and the urbanization.
